Higher Path Holistic Care Collective is a little bohemian style dispensary on East Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake (Echo Park). Operating for over three and a half years, this place is one of the longer standing medical marijuana dispensaries in LA. Parking on the street can be limited or easily available in front of the entrance. You may have wait for a spot or walk a little. A security guard will check your paperwork before letting you in the secure reception room. The reception room is small with limited seating. The nice woman at the reception desk had me verified quickly and painlessly.
The medication room here is undersized with walls painted forest green. The color of the room and the large dream catcher hanging from the ceiling caught my eye and made me feel like I was in a laid back alternative healing atmosphere. Only about one to two people can fit on either side of the three display cases in this medication room. There were a variety of accessories in the first case, flower in the second case, and hashes, concentrates, and edibles in the third case. Previously called the Silverlake 13 Collective (before they found out there was an unaffiliated gang named Silverlake 13), this place is the original home of the half 8th and has an active compassion program for low income patients with 8ths ranging from $20-70.
While Higher Path has a really cool vibe for such a small place and I would recommend
them, their sister store Green
Goddess Holistic Care Collective (CLICK FOR REVIEW) is one of the nicer dispensaries
I've visited and I would recommend giving that location a visit first.
