Reviewed by firstname.lastname@example.org Reviewed Saturday, 20 Apr 2007 04:20:00 PST California Patients Group (CPG) is more than a dispensary. You could call it a medical marijuana recreational and therapeutical community center. Located in a spacious one-story building on Santi Monica Blvd., this place was easy to find and had plenty of metered parking spots available on the street directly infront of the building. The waiting room here was nice. There were plenty of seats, things to look at and to read, plants and a cool fountain that wasn\'t turned on. The receptionist had me verified quickly and was very infomative. She made sure that I understood the rules, informed me about events, and explained the member rewards point-based program (membership card included).
CPG boasts about their \"patients first attitude\" and I must say that they take a patients first approach; at least to first timers. When I walked back into the medication room I was suprised to see how large it was and I was awed by everything they had to offer. Before I even got a chance to check the place out, someone came around from behind the display cases to give me the \"first time patient\'s free trip to the vapor lounge\" and to show me around the place. Ngaio, pronounced \"un-guy-oh,\" is head of social services and political activism for CPG and gave me an overview of their involvement within the medical marijuana community. The display cases here were filled with everything from various quality strains and edibles, to concentrates and hashes. To top it all off I even saw some very healthy clones. I sampled the Strawberry Cough and the Sativie Wonder and was satisfied as I\'m sure you would be too.
CPG is more than just a place to pickup your medication. It is a medical marijuana communitiy and chill spot. There were places to sit and a library of books to read. There was a big screen tv, an area for live music, bingo, and comedy. They even had table set up so you could sit and play chess. This place also had fair prices and quality medication. I would recommend giving them a visit. Be sure to check them out and don\'t forget to tell them you read about them on weedconnection.com
